You can join Plexus as an associate for only $34.95 which include you annual membership and you own personal website.  To become an Ambassador you would had to upgrade to one of their welcome packages that are priced from $99-$199.

Plexus Ambassadors can earn 15-25% commission on their personal sales volume over $100 depending on the total volume accumulated during the month.  Ambassadors also earn a 5% sales override on any personal sales volume over $100.00 in their organization, 1 fully compressed level below them. Ambassadors can earn more as they recruit others and advance in rank.

The health and wellness industry is a trillion dollar industry.  Also, people are trying to get a handle on their health because everyone wants to live their best life possible.  Because of this, getting in a company in this industry can be very lucrative.  Plexus Slim seems to have great leadership, great products, and great compensation plan which would make it a viable home based business.  Even with all of this, there is still no guarantee that you will be successful in this business.  I recommend that you get an attraction marketing system in order to attract prospects and customers to your business once you run out of friends and family to talk to.  If you combine online and offline techniques, then there is no limit how far you can go in your business!

The life blood of any internet or network marketer is lead generation. How many times have we heard before that “The Money Is In the List?” As a new internet marketer generating leads can seem to be a daunting task. Most of us don’t know where to begin. Here is a list of the top 10 ways to generate leads online:

1. Blogging
Every internet marketer should have a blog. It is your piece of real estate on the web. All of your videos, articles, affiliate offers, and social media links should all tie back into your blog. It is like the central nervous system of your business. You could go to Blogger.com to start a blog or if you choose to pay for your own hosting your could go to WordPress.org for your blog and a site like Host Gator to host your site.

2. Solo Ads
Since you don’t have a list of your own yet you can use someone else’s. What you do is pay to send and email out to someone else’s list. These lists usually have thousands of people on them so if you send out a good message you should be able to generate a lot of leads from this method. There are hundreds of lists out there but just to name a few you could go to: Top Surfer, GotSafeLists and Planet X-mail.

3. Video Marketing
Video marketing is a great way to connect with people. The already know what you look like and sound like before you ever even meet. Your prospects feel like they already know you. It is a great way to generate leads because you can post a link to your website or capture page in the video details section. Some great sites to post are You Tube, Meta Cafe, and Revver.

4. Article Marketing
Article Marketing is a great way to get lead especially for the long term. Your article stays on the internet forever which guarantees you leads for years to come. When you become a published author people respect that and you become seen as an expert in your field. Some great places to post your articles are EzineArticles, Go Articles, and Article Dashboard, just to name a few.

5. Forum Marketing
Join forums that center around your niche that you are marketing. Participate in the forum chat rooms by answering a question. Always sign your name with a link to your website. Make sure that you are providing useful information and not just spamming the group. A good place to look for Forums of any interest is Yahoo groups.

6. Social Media
Social Media sites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter are great sites to get free leads. On Facebook and MySpace you can join various groups on any interest in the universe. You can connect with people based on like interests. Once you get a good amount for friends you can then form a group and invite your friends to the group. You can then let your friends within the group know if you have an event or a new blog post all at once.

7. Webinar or Teleconference

If you get right though, PPC can deliver highly targeted qualified leads. You can place PPC ads on search engines like Google and Yahoo.

9. Press Releases
When you create a press release what you are writing about must be newsworthy. For example maybe your company has just launched a new product or service or there may be an annoucement about a hot topic that people in your industry would be interested in. Press Releases are a great way to get a rush of leads. They can also act an article if it is well written key word rich because it will be picked up by the search engines and it will then give you a steady stream of in the long term.
