Just because you build a website or blog does not mean that you will get visitors. You have to get the word out about your site. Well, you may be saying “What if I can’t afford to pay for advertising?” “I am on a limited budget as it is.” Never fear, there are plenty of ways to drive free traffic to your website and I am going to discuss the top 3 ways to drive traffic. They are Social Media Marketing, Article Marketing, and Video.

Social Networking sites are are all the rage now. They are a great way to gain exposure for yourself and for your business. A few of the top sites are Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter. On each of these sites you are able to make posts on relevant message boards. You must make sure that when you post to the various group boards that you are giving relevant information and not just posting a direct advertisement. In other words, do not spam random groups. Always include your signature on each post with a link to your website.
