Plexus’ flagship product is Plexus Slim.  Plexus Slim is a dietary supplement that you would take once a day in order to help you lose weight.  The company claims that this products promotes Loss of weight and inches by burning fat, not muscle,Healthy blood sugar levels,Healthy cholesterol and lipid levels,Healthy will power over food choices, and Free radical scavenging (reduces oxidative stress).  The company also claims that this product is Safe, non-stimulatory and non-thermogenic and Diabetic friendly.  Plexus’ other products include: Accelerator, Breast Cream, Breast Chek Kit, Bio Cleanse, and ProBio5.

Plexus Slim Review – Cost to Join and Compensation Plan

You can join Plexus as an associate for only $34.95 which include you annual membership and you own personal website.  To become an Ambassador you would had to upgrade to one of their welcome packages that are priced from $99-$199.

Plexus Ambassadors can earn 15-25% commission on their personal sales volume over $100 depending on the total volume accumulated during the month.  Ambassadors also earn a 5% sales override on any personal sales volume over $100.00 in their organization, 1 fully compressed level below them. Ambassadors can earn more as they recruit others and advance in rank.

Plexus Slim Review – Is Plexus Slim a Viable Home Bases Business Opportunity?

The health and wellness industry is a trillion dollar industry.  Also, people are trying to get a handle on their health because everyone wants to live their best life possible.  Because of this, getting in a company in this industry can be very lucrative.  Plexus Slim seems to have great leadership, great products, and great compensation plan which would make it a viable home based business.  Even with all of this, there is still no guarantee that you will be successful in this business.  I recommend that you get an attraction marketing system in order to attract prospects and customers to your business once you run out of friends and family to talk to.  If you combine online and offline techniques, then there is no limit how far you can go in your business!

I just returned from my primary company convention, LIMU Incite,  in Dallas, TX  this past Monday.  This was my first ever event with this company and I must say that it was phenomenal!  On the first night that I arrived I attended the Ultimate Experience Party where the company gave prizes out for people that shared their LIMU Experience. It could be a improved health experience, a weight loss experience, or improved finances experience.  They received prizes like Maid Service for a year, all expense paid trips to Boston, New York, and San Franscisco, and $800 worth of event tickets just to name a few!

The next day among more prizes and awards, we were graced with a speech from our keynote speaker Mr. Dan Clark.  Dan Clark has been named one of the top 10 keynote speakers in the world by Achievers North America and Achievers Europe.  Dan Clark is also a contributing author for the Chicken Soup for the Soul Series and is also the author of 20 books including Puppies for Sale that was made into a movie starring Jack Lemmon.  Clark is also a song writer and recording artist.

Dan Clark calls himself a inspirational speaker rather than a motivational speaker.  Clark said that most motivational speakers are always asking you to think outside the box.  Clark asked the question “What if the answers are still inside the box?” He said that everyone is always looking for new answers when we should be looking for the right answers.  He went on to say that “Everything you need to take it to the next level is already inside of you.”

Clark also said that “Stretch” is a proactive word that should replace “Change.”  He said that we must stretch physically.  For example, if you are trying to lose weight don’t look in the mirror and say that “I am a fat slob.”  You should say  “I am very successful at putting on weight.”  Then say, “I gained the weight one pound at a time so I can lose the weight one pound at a time.”

Clark said that we must stretch emotionally and intellectually.  He said that stretching occurs past the point of discomfort.  He said, “Instead of saying that you are going to change, why not just stretch yourself more in a positive direction.” He also asked “How high is your bar?”  Are you doing what you are capable of, or are you just doing what is asked of you?

One controversial thing that Dan Clark said was that it’s not all about teams because teams lose. It’s about winning.   He said that people are always saying that there is no “I” in team.  Well winning has two “I(s).”  He said that being on a team starts with independent thinking and then interdependent cooperation. Clark went on to say the teams that win have the greatest number of “I” players. (Clark is also an ex-professional football player).

All in all it was a great event!  I was inspired by all testimonies about how LIMU is improving our members/promoters health and wealth.  I was inspired to see all the leaders collecting their prizes and bonuses.  At the next event I want to be walking across that stage!

Now that January is over and you promised yourself that you were going to do all these great things for your New Year’s Resolution like: Blog Everyday, Comment on Blogs, Create or Improve your Blog, Create or Improve your Fan Page, or (Fill in the Blank).  Are you happy with what you achieved?  Did you achieve any of the goals that you set out to do? I am asking myself these same questions.  It does not matter what level you are on in your business. You could always do better.

Below are some tips that you should implement for the rest of 2012:

1.   Dedicate 2-3 hours a day on income producing activities. They need to be things that will produce leads or drive traffic to your website, such as blogging, cutting videos, webinars, paid advertising, etc.  Do whatever your budget can afford, just remember to make the most of your time and money.  Also remember that once you get these leads to actually call them to enroll them in your primary business, affiliate program, or whatever you are promoting.

2.   Make sure you take out time to get your mind right! Even though friends and family mean well and think that they have your best interest at heart, they still can be very negative when it comes to your business.  That’s why it’s important to make sure that your listen to something inspirational everyday such as a wake up call that may be given by your favorite coach or marketing mastermind group.

3.   Stay connected with people that can help you get to the next level and actually follow their advice. Nothing upsets a coach more than a student that asks for help and then that student does not do a darn thing.  The coach is happy to get your money but is puzzled as to why you are not doing the things that your were told to do for success.

4.   There is never a perfect time to get started. A lot of times we put things off until we feel that they are just right.  Don’t worry about things being perfect!  Just start where you are right now and do continuous improvement as you go along.

5.   Don’t let the forces of evil take your attention away from your goals! What are the forces of evil? – Negative friends and family, Television (News, Reality Shows, Sit-Coms, etc), Radio (Listen to Success CDs instead of the “music” that are playing in the radio), Spending money on entertainment (Clubbing, Concerts, Movies, Going out to Dinner, Shopping, etc.).  I am not saying that you can never have any fun.  Just limit these thieves of your time and money.  Make sure that you are not letting these “fun” activities get in the way of building your business.  Get your work done first and then play.

Yes, January is gone but its not to late to make 2012 a banner year.  Get working on your goals now.  Don’t worry about 2013 sneaking up on you….You should start worrying now about Feb and March.  The end of the first quarter of the year will be here before you know it.  Let’s close out the quarter and the rest of the year on a good note!
